  • I mean, it kinda defeats the purpose, but there's always cigars...
  • great for you..but DON'T go drinking with your friends or people who smoke...not for a longer period than 2 weeks...don't put yourself into those situations...You only need 1 cigarette to hook you again (I know I did it--and it was much harder to quit the 2nd time)...Keep up the great work...quitting smoking is tough..it is a powerful drug....go for long walks, keep busy and as I said stay away from alcohol and other smokers for a while.
  • going out and having a few drinks with friends is not the best way to get through these first weeks or months. You might consider putting that part of your life on hold until you are stronger with the nicotene abstinence, Here are some suggestions: go to the library and research a new hobby or interest exercise go to a movie go to the park get a part time job (just for a distraction, not for the money) join a new group research addiction and tips on getting through it Smoking is SOOOO SOOO difficult to stop, I know from experience, so I wish you well, and hope you continue to make the right choice. ;)
