How can someone fall in love with someone on AB? They don't even really know them.

well they could get to know each other by reading every single one of their questions/answers/comments. and maybe stalk each other a little bit lol j/k!

Fall in love and have the other fall out. That has happened in my visits. I am still in love and wish it were mutual!

They may talk outside of AB and email one another. I am not sure, but it happens.

How can someone consider someone on AB a "friend"? They don't even really know them-and what contact they have is superficial and/or unconfirmable.

hard to understand isn't it?!! I think it is infatuation, there is no freakin way it could be love.

Of course you can start to get to know someone here and that could lead to conversing elsewhere and meeting each other if you see, to get along and really hit if off with them. It's possible for people to develop friendships here, lasting ones, so why not for people to find someone they love? I've got some internet friends that I've had for over 12 years, most I never even met them face to face.
