Yes, everyday I am faced with situations that can have huge impacts on people's lives. My actions prevent and solve problems as well as ensure people can continue their daily lives as they know them. I work with very sick people and my role ensures they have as much quality of life as possible.

Yes ... I teach the type of health science that makes people want to change their way of life. I teach self defense skills that alter peoples perceptions of the whole world, becoming much more aware of the details surrounding them everywhere. I also write some useful Linux software utils & custom business software solutions that have changed the way my clients do their work.

I work in homelessness prevention, so I would say I have a pretty big effect on peoples lives
