What is the deal with UFC?? Why are so many people addicted to watching other people beat the crap out of each other?

Because UFC is similar to what a real fight would be, which would end up on the ground. I live in Vegas, which is where the UFC is based, and i have also noticed that the fighters are more accessible than boxers are. I have seen many of them working out at the gym and even though I have only spoken to a few, it's nice to know that you can just approach them and most of them are actually really nice. I spoke to Chuck "Iceman" Liddell and he is probably almost TOO nice for a fighter. He was really cool and signed an autograph for me.

UFC is the new boxing. Yes, people beat the crap out of each other, but it's in a controlled setting. It's a match of strenth, athleticism and skill. Just like any other sport.
