    You can download Visual Basic Express from Microsoft. My suggestion is to pick up some books on the subject and start programming. Learn by practice. That's how I got started in C so many years ago. Get a compiler, and hammer out code. Look at source code examples online, check out books from the library, and practice. Start with little do nothing source code and build from there. I'm confused though, if you already know C, then you knew how to get started there, so how would you not know where to start with VB?
