obviously when you are pregnant the skin will stretch, but after when you get back to your normal weight the tattoo will just be the same. it wont appear bigger because your skin will shrink as you lose weight

skins are stretchable, it will eventually go back after you gave birth by doing sum exercise to make it tight again but tattoo are not getting nice when you got much age, u know? became a folk? because skin change and lessen the elasticity.

I don't believe the skin on and around my hipbones stretched at all during pregnancy. I did wind up with stretch marks, but only on my belly. The ligaments in your hips will loosen up during the last few months of pregnancy, but not enough to cause the skin to stretch dramatically(and certainly not to the point of stretch marks).

i once new some one who had a dolphin there but as the years passed and a few children were born it now looks like a beached whale!!

It depends, but if you do get quite large during pregnancy the lines become fuzzier and stretch marks can alter the look slightly (it is less noticable on grey shaded areas), also depending where it stretches to, c-sections can have a very tattoo-unfriendly impact!!! It does look better after a year or so, but worth thinking on. If you do decide to go ahead, bio-oil is the best way to treat skin both during and after pregnancy. Hope it helps!

My own experience in pictures: http://www.jennifersuarez.com/FamilyPhotos/Pregnant2/tattoostretch.cfm I have a tattoo in the exact area you are describing and took pictures of it while pregnant. It did stretch, but it went back to normal.

well, obviously. but it'll go back to normal after you've had the kids. just use stuff to put on strechmarks, it'll tighten the skin, and it'll be the same again.
