Sure, it is a very easy and logical alphabet to learn to read but I need to have the marks above and below in order to know what word I am reading. Understanding it is quite another story. I did take out a book introducing me to Hebrew from the library a few times. I probably would less than 500 words as that I have just a skeleton framework of knowledge about this fascinating language and script. I studied a few lines from the בר×שית and would recognize some things I'd come across here or there.

No, however, I do intend to learn it eventually if I can and if the Lord permits. I do know some Hebrew words though(when they are put into english letters--example: "Sheol", Elohyim, Yehovah, etc). -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!

Yes. I can read Hebrew ad I understand it as well. I learnt Hebrew here in Canada. I also studied for a while in Israel, including read the newspaper on Friday.
