My kitten who was free to a good home but required extensive deworming-defleaing-decontaminating. About $100 worth. He has become my young daughter's best friend. The apple of her eye. He follows her faithfully. Sleeps next to her. Plays with her. Never bites or scratches her and is a joy to us all.

it is not the least expensive thing that I ever purchased, but when I got my first new car back in 1987 I purchase a Black and Decker vacuum cleaner for less than $20.00. It was one of those you plug in into the cigarette lighter. I had it for many, many years and it performed great! It had a very good "sucking" power, it was an excellent acquisition for a small amount of money.

My plastic back scratcher I got from the dollar store. Not only does it do a great job on that impossible to reach itch, it helps me retrieve the remote under the couch, props open the storm door in the summer, I can reach the out of reach bag of chips and use it to rake them up when I spill them on the carpet. I can pick up the towels on the bathroom floor with ease without bending over, gosh some many to list and so little time.
