You're not too young if you plan ahead and take the proper precautions. You and your boyfriend might make note of the fact that both your parents have sex and have done so over all the years of you life without producing 17 children over the past 17 years. The reason for that is simple; they correctly use one or more methods of birth control. If you and your bf are not yet ready to start a family then always do what is necessary to prevent pregnancy. First, he should always use a condom, no exceptions. Second, you should always use birth control pills. You may also consider marking your safer days on a calendar and talk about it with your bf. Taking care is not hard to do and sex will even be more fun without the worry. God intended sex to be fun, that's why you have a clitoris.... ;~)
