If you do not plan on having a long distance romance or couldn't handle it then break it off. Your only wasting you time if not & you could be looking for someone else.

Not unless I was going to move with her. Long distance relationships don't work. If you don't plan on moving, then you guys should break up on good term and hopefully one day in the futher, if you guys cross paths, you can pick up where you left off...

depends on how well we got along and if we were only parting because of the distance I would date them all up until the time they left.

It would depend on a few things. First, how much I liked them, second, if either one of us would be willing to move closer at some time. I mean if he's moving away is he coming back or will I have to move out there etc....

It would depend on how involved we were. If I loved him, I would be with him until it ended, long distance or not. Love can be stronger than distance if it's real. But if you're just getting to know this person and it's still a casual relationship, I might reconsider.
