  • I've done it before. This place took care of Jake for years when we went out of town. They are always rated one of the best boarding places in Atlanta. http://www.pet-lodge.com/
  • No i leave my dog with a trusted friend that loves dogs :D
  • No I have my niece who will come and care for them when I go out of town.
  • No, I wouldn't. While in Veterinary school I worked for a vet with one and although I gave outstanding care, the animals were not very happy being crated and caged and in the company of other strange animal smells.
  • I have done it in the past, a loooong time ago, but i had some problems finding good places. We had one dog develop a foot allergy maybe from whatever they used to clean their floors. It's been better to have family watch over our pets.
  • I wouldn't, never have, I always have taken my dogs with me if I had to go out of town or when that is in no way possible, I have had my lawyer keep them because I don't want them caged up. :)
  • No. I'd rather have a friend or relative pet sit.
  • Nope, my dog flips out in those places. So If I need to I have someone come to the house. He's my baby so he get's what he wants. The little brat!!!lol
  • No. The ones in our city cost more for our two dogs than the price of a hotel room. Walks are extra; kongs are extra; treats are extra. I hired a neighborhood kid for $100 for the week. He not only fed them, but also played with them and took them for walks. The neighbors commented on how much more often they saw my dogs when I was gone than when I'm home.
  • I find it easier on the pet to have a sitter come into my home instead of taking it out.
  • No, it would be too expensive. I have 5 cats and a lizard. One of our friends just stops by to feed and fluff them.
