Some people say im ugly or funny looking. A lot of people say im good looking,handsome, etc. Why do peoples opinions vary so much on the way i look. It seems abnormally as much as other people. I dont really have an opinion on my looks. I think im not bad

OK, so you're definitely not ugly. From the photo I think that you have very defined features, nice eyes. Attraction is a funny thing. My friends and I will constantly disagree on who's hot and who's not - but suddenly there will be someone who's "universally" hot. Beat's me... You know what - it's important that we are honest to each other, but we are who we are. Take the feedback from those who say you're good looking, and accept that others may not think so. After all, you can't and shouldn't do anything to alter yourself. Work out if you wish, take care of your body but keep on developing a personality that will overshadow the rest. You may never become a model, but a strong personality could take you further than you can imagine.

Your at an age wher being conserned about looks is important,1. learn to see your self as very pretty and as you become more confident this worry will go away. Selfconfidence always comes through and genuine kindness and all that makes you worthy of mankind that is you and you will find after HS and college You are worthy of all you desire.Pick up some self help books read them learn how to put them into use and as you mature you will find all that you use to worry about isn't so important.Keep your chin up and your mind open to positive thinking.

no metter if u r ugly or beautiful but u should honest and your behaviour must be good for other. if u r ugly and yr behaviour is good 4 al. than people will loved u and if u r beautiful and yr behaviour is very bad than no body want to talk to u.

I always had the same problem and was called anything from ugly and minging, to gorgeous and a "babe" in the past, and it is very confusing. I always thought it would be easier if everyone could just agree that I was either ugly, average, or good-looking, so I knew where I stood.

Sassygirl. You answered your own question. I think I'm not bad. This means you are not hard to look at, more than likely to be very pretty. If you think ' I'm not bad looking,' You are there. Sounds as though you are young. I would say to you young lady, take the World by storm kiddo, you've got what it takes, you don't need anyone else to tell you how to run your life. Do it your way, your way, your way. Go for it girl.

It depends on taste. Like with guys, a lot are crazy for blondes, others for brunettes. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Sort of why some people like seeing the sun rise, as other's don't get what the fuss is all about.

That's because no one thinks alike, people are going to have their opposing differences about others whether its about the person, their looks or an issue. I was surprised at how picky some people are when it comes to people that they prefer to date etc and some were rejected because of their appearance, sad isn't it?...Judgmental people miss out on whole lot of love and friendship that the world has to offer...

I think that just means you are unique. Your distinct characteristics are pleasing to some and unpleasing to others. IMO you should not care what these people are saying....beauty is really in ones soul.

People's opinions vary because their preferences vary. What do you have that supports your idea that their opinions are abnormal? You say you don't have an opinion regarding your looks but then you give an opinion...what's that about?

"Looks" (outer) are temporary, so why are they so important? What's REALLY important is the INNER "looks." These looks are (or SHOULD be) continually improving. I guess that's why as we get OLDER--our vision gets WORSE!!! LOL In our "golden years", what will really matter will be our INNER beauty, so you have PLENTY of time to groom yourself, inwardly, for that time!!! Good luck!

The most attractive people often have rather strong features that can be seen as beautiful to some people and ugly to others. Think of Angelina Jolie. Her puffed up lips and cat like eyes are a turn on to most people, but some think she is scary looking. Even Brad Pitt has very exaggerated cheek and jaw bones. He is seen as a sex symbol, but i bet if he wasnt as famous he wouldnt be considered that hot. (i know people are going to chew me up on that one)
