  • Well I was 18 and my reason was because I did not want to take drivers education. My brother was 22 when he first got his drivers license because he was in the war, he could drive a tank but not a car. My great grandmother never got her drivers license, and neither did my grandma. So I guess everyone has there reasons !
  • Lazy and a moocher. Always wanting a ride somewhere.
  • I got mine at 18, since I didn't have a car, and my parents only had the one that my step-father took to work. I walked a lot and took the bus on occasion. Very seldom did I ask for a ride, unless it was at night. When I got a full time job at 18 I bought a used car and then got my license.

  • Big deal? Maybe they failed a few times. I'd rather they get their license when they can pass, and not just when they turn 16! I also have a few friends who don't have their licenses for various reasons. It doesn't make me think any less of them.
  • I didn't get mine till 18.
  • Probably uses mass transit a lot, good for them.
  • The person may have realized there are a lot of things in life more important and more interesting than driving a vehicle.
