Not quite enough details, but I'll take a few stabs. If you are not getting anything at all when you turn the key, check to see if it has a crankshaft sensor. I had one go bad on my brothers jeep a few months ago and it drove me nuts trying to find out why it wouldn't turn over, that ended up being it. If you are getting turns but no kickover, check fuel delivery and ignition coils. Not entirely familiar with S10s, but some vehicles have a fuel pressure relief valve located next to the injector manifold. Take the cover off and depress the valve stem to see if you have fuel pressure at the manifold. If you do, check your ignition box. Use an ohm meter and check for opens in either your primary or secondary windings.
