If I'm on a highway, I slow down and hope they pass me. On a one lane road, I will pull over and let the ass pass.

Depends on what mood I'm in on that particular day. I might calmly move over and let the a$$hole by. I may slow down to a crawl and really make them have a coronary. I may lightly tap the brake or I may just totally stomp the brake pedal into the floorboard.

I take the first place I can turn off on the right and let them pass on by. I am in no hurry and I do not want to cause those that are to be late and do something stupid.

I burry my foot in the firewall. If they hit you then they're just going to pay for it b/c they were following too close behind. I usually give them a warning and tap my breaks, this will either let make them back off or ride your ass more. In which case well you know what happens.

Some people may not want to go through the hassle, but you could save someone else the trouble b/c this person is obviously going to do it to other people and those people may have children in the car which is scary.

I'll let them learn their lesson. Odds are if they have to pay for their impatience they won't do it again.

I'll tap my brakes real quick like to scare them and to back off - if not, then I will piss them off by going slower and slower until they go around me - then I smile at them like nothing is wrong!

Squirt the shit out of them, if they are close enough they will see your love on their windshield. If they are far enough away, they won't.

If there are any puddles on the road, I'll aim right for 'em and give them a good splash. Or, I'll also drive on the slush from snow, that really makes a mess on their car......they usually back off quickly. If not, I give my brakes a "light tap".

I give the windshield washer a few pulls. If they are too close the wind/ forward motion will take the cleaner back onto their windshield. That is usually enough of a hint that they are too close. They usually back off or pass.

If you speed up they will do likewise. So I have developed a surefire way of making them keep a safe distance, and all I do is press my hazard warning light on and off once. Touching your own brakes could cause them to rear end you.The driver behind literally shit themselves and it works every time. However I always make sure in my mirror that nobody is tailgating them.

:) :) I live and drive in Bombay. Here if we are not driving bumper to bumper its a miracle. If someone was too far away from me I would have serious doubts about his/her driving abilities as in our traffic conditions leaving too much space between cars is a crime. :)

    I antagonize them.

My car has go-power, so if its a two lane road, I like to ease off the gas until they go to pass, let them get almost along side me, and then stomp it and leave them in the dust.

Its also fun alternating between going faster and slower than someone in the lane next to you so that Mr. Anxious behind you switches lanes every ten seconds trying to get around one of you.

I just had this done to me through a windy mountain road where you are not allowed to overtake, and there were cars in front of me and we were travelling the same speed, i don't know why they were following so close. I just flipped my rear vision mirror so that i could not see them and then they were flashing their lights, when we got into town the police were on the side of the road so they backed right off. There are some crazy fools out there and it is best to stay away from them, or let them overtake if you can.

    I do hate tail gating.

If I can move over I will but if I am doing the speed limit they will just have to stay where they are . I tend to have a bit of a heavy foot on a Motorway but I would never try to push another person to go faster if they were on the limit.

Those that sit in the fast lane and are about 30 miles under the limit can be pretty annoying

It's called offensive and defensive driving. If I'm on the freeway, I'll hit my brakes and send them a wake up call. If it's in the city, I will purposely block them in so they can't drive like a mad man/woman.

I go slower, and slower, and slower, etc. ... because, I'm always in the slow lane, doing the speed limit, so they basically have no right to ride my bumper, (not that they have a right to, anyway).

I try to stay cool and not let it upset me. I then think 10 minutes ahead. What does this fu**head matter 2 me? And ten minutes goes by and I am where I need 2 be. Not in Jail. And this is when I am feeling good!

When Im not I slow down fast. And I want to destroy the punk a$$.

Kinda 2 extremes, but thats my life.

On the highway, I drive as far right as possible, on the shoulder if I can, to let him pass.
In city traffic, I try to do the same. If it's not possible, I tap the brakes to light my brake lights. If that doesn't work, and if I'm in a particularly pissy mood, I slow down to a crawl.
