  • Pay your debt, filing bankruptcy will follow you around forever. A friend of mine filed about 10 years ago and he still can't get a long distance carrier on his phone. Also he can't get anymore credit. The laws are tightened up, filing doesn't mean you will get it.

  • Go to www.daveramsey.com Look up the affiliates list and listen to him on the radio,or read one his books.He lists everything you need to do to get out of debt w/o going the bankruptcy route and be debt free...He is genuine and serious about helping people "right the sinking ship of debt",I've followed his steps and I am debt free.Discover card hates me because I get a discount and percs from them but I pay the balance in full every month.I get interest from my bank checking acct and I pay $0 interest to Discover.
  • get your debt consolidated. one payment. then go to school, or do it online. medical technology is big right now.
  • Don't file for it.. you will regret it later.. consolidate your debt and get atop it that way. Good luck.
