  • YES. i dont think things would be very different, our feet would have adapted to not having shoes, and they would have adjusted accordingly.

  • yes, some would. for example, I know a family that has 7 small children, most are adopted. In the summer they run around the front yard and driveway barefoot and sometimes naked. They have no fence for privacy either. But, in their yard, I have noticed since I have visited a few times, everything from beer can tabs to fast food cup lids embedded into the dirt from apparent years of existence. As I was walking out of the yard, the driveway was covered with puddles of various automotive fluids from leaky cars, and beneath the carport are buckets of uncovered drained greases and oils. I then notice a little girl with no shirt on playing in this bucket and smearing black grease and oil all over her face as she displayed her bashfulness at being seen. Just one small example.
