Only a jerk would pierce their pet. Although tattoos to indicate whether an animal has been fixed, not a bad idea, and they're done while the animals is still under. And it is funny to put jewelry into the natural hole in your cat's ear that he got from fighting and take a picture while he sleeps. But then you must take it out. Pets need no flair.
