I believe we should provide reproductive health services to developing countries. And that might include offering safe abortion services. I understand that we are in a very bad economic situation, but I do not believe that we should shut down foreign aid absolutely. I know this may not be the answer you wanted to hear, but you did ask who was OK with this.

The lifting of the gag rule did not increase money for the program it involved NOR did it change the US laws on use of taxpayer funds for abortions.

I'm surprised you're not. All things considered what was happening in the Bu$h years in American Territory. Where the Bu$h Administration had no problem with forced abortions in Saipan.

I am not good with paying for abortions ANYWHERE. Economy issues aside..life is precious and it should not be taken lightly. Would I have a problem with educating people on birth control or making it more available?..no problem.

I suppose an abortion now is cheaper than humanitarian aid for that child/person years down the road.

It's Eugenics. Don't let anybody fool you. The elite love to pat themselves on the back psychologically. Poor people can't take care of themselves, the corporations can't make any money on them, so they must somehow be 'flawed' or 'inferior' right down to the genetic level. Abortions today, Nazi style sterilization programs tomorrow.
