  • Absolutely. My old dog, Bub, was a big music fan. When he was alive, we'd have to leave the radio on for him if we left him home alone - he'd be so sad if we didn't! He loved to be sung to, and he'd sit and listen when we had people over playing music. ^_^
  • If you don't know about birds and music, then you'll think this is great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT5lKy2fcmc&feature=PlayList&p=F3830C3D36D04ECF&index=19 Not all parrots love music the same way. One of my parrots will sing and dance, one will just dance. I've known lots of birds that don't seem to care, and others that will dance only to violin or piano music. Lots of dogs will sing to music, but I am not sure if they are liking the human made music, or just responding to tone. Interesting isn't it?
  • Sounds very plausible to me! Just remembered - they tried different sorts of music on cows. They produced more milk on certain types of music i.e. they were calmer/happier http://www.organicconsumers.org/rbgh/classical_music_milk_production.cfm
  • Of course, why do you think they hang around with Ipods then?
  • yes ofcourse they do, i have seen dogs bark to music and parrots sing and other birds sing.
  • All the cats I've ever had have been big fans of music of any kind. If I have music on in my apartment while I'm working or painting, my cat comes in the room and just sits on the chair with her eyes closed listening to music, it's cute.
  • my cat Larkin comes and rubs against me when i sing Jazz!
