You mean another one? Quite possibly, although the same process will probably be achieved through democratisation, which will come eventually.

One thought a young Chinese lad expressed to us was that because of the one child policy there could be a terrible population crisis as most families chose only to keep their boys. He also thought that China would not present much of a threat as these 'only children' were so precious to their families that they would not easily agree to them being put in any kind of danger or threat. As to the economy - I think it is partly driven by western business who see the great potential to flood a whole new market with all the high tech gear cars, appliances etc etc. A business man's dream. Same goes for India. What I can't understand though is why we sell of all our resources so cheaply then get swamped with yjpdr imports being made OS. Maybe if we had tarriffs and made our raw materials more realistically priced we might be able to even out the trading and job market a little. Yep - I know -- I'm dreaming!

The standard of living in China is not that bad. It's a whole lot worse than the US, but that does not mean it's unbearable. With the new manufacturing jobs being created there, and the growth in their economy, the Standard of living will undoubtedly rise, so the revolution is probably a lot farther away than we may realise. Apologies in advance if i'm wrong, but i sense you have been listening to 'United States Ltd anti communism broadcasts'. Western governments don't care what system of government the Chinese have, as long as they buy our companies consumer goods, services and raw materials. It's always about the MONEY!
