Are Jehovah's Witnesses technically Christians since they do not believe Jesus = God?

Wtf? Christians are the ones that believe Jesus is the last prophet and the son of God. Jehovah's witnesses are just a cult started from a branch of Judaism.

technically not since the one fundamental to be Christian is to believe in the holy trinity, which JWs do not.

Well, Christ said He was God, so how can you be His follower if you don't accept His teaching. I don't know enough about Jehovah's Witnesses to know for sure that belief is true of them, but if it is, then they aren't accepting what Christ taught about Himself.

Yes, they certainly are Christians since they except Jesus as their Savior and as their King ruling in heaven. They heed his commands to preach found in the Bible at Matthew 24:14: “ And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. And at Matthew 28:19-20: “ Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

I just know that once you start messing with the belief of the 3 in one. God the father, Son and Holy Ghost. Then there is a problem. Look into the beliefs onn the web you will find the truth.

just because we don't believe jesus is God, does not mean we do not believe in jesus or accept him as our saviour. he never said he was God, he said he was the son of God. if anyone is following in his footsteps and obeying his commandment to preach the message he came to earth to preach are the Jehovah's Witnesses. this is a fact most that accuse us of not believing in jesus choose to ignore. another fact that when these individuals are asked what exactly did jesus preach, have never been able to answer correctly. and these are the ones that claim to believe in jesus.
