When you get a commercial on the tv, hit the skip button and it will skip the commercial, if you are watching it on the dvd. Good Luck.

uh i think its button in the middle side of the controller its the (far middle left) side and on the far middle right is the "cancel" button. Also it depends on what kind of tv remote that you have, do you still have the manual for the controller?
