  • I am afraid not. I was thinking just that question a day or 2 ago. I think if anything this is the best time to attack our country. I am afraid that this guy has no idea what he's gotten himself into. He wants to reason with people who don't have a lick of sense. GOD help us!!!!
  • yes and peoples of america will live safly always bcoz i pray for them.
  • No. It's probably at greater risk. The extremists will not respond to a rational approach and will take full advantage of any opportunity.
  • no, sadly not. We can't kiss and make up with people that hate us and wish us dead. Nice dream but sooner or later we had better wake up. The world is a dangerous place. Those that hammer their swords into plows too early end up plowing for the ones that didn't.
  • Nope! Grab your ankles!
  • Absolutely! Last week, we got rid of the top recruiter of terrorists the world has ever known!
  • No, and in more peril as time passes. The White House is back to Clinon-esque pre-9/11 mentality, 'just ignore it and hope it all goes away'. The jihadists are laughing their asses off.
  • Hell no. We know have our own Neville Chamberlain at the helm. Move away from large "important" cities. The islamo fascists are licking their chops.
  • Yes it is. We have someone at the helm of this country who will use every weapon in our arsenal against those who wish us harm. The thing Bush(and most republicans) don't seem to understand is that diplomacy is our greatest weapon. Convincing the peoples of the middle east not to support the Jihadists is the fastest, easiest, and most complete way to undercut them. Take away the resources, and they're without any ability to do us harm.
  • No because our leader is a liberal joke that wants to make everyone happy and hurt no ones feelings! Got to love those lefty liberals
  • No, but not because of the current leader or past President. Any regime change in any powerful country is likely to be seen as an opportune time to make a move. Any new leader of a country is going to have an adjustment period. I don't care if it's Clinton to Bush, Bush to Obama, Bush to McCain, or Obama to whoever else. Any regime change, regardless of who or what political parties are involved, is going to involve an adjustment period, which terrorists are likely to see as a "weak" time.
  • No, someone recently threw a paper ball at me.
  • hell no
  • No ! Wall street is still stealing your money!
  • The economy is not any better but we are safer from terrorism. 2/3 of the terrorists are muslim, and at least 2/3 of those are Arab. Therefore, America should have a bone to pick with all middle eastern arab countries. However, Obama is the perfect politician, mirroring the likes of the president of Iran. I believe that arabs look at America as being led by an arab (arab last name and myriad of arab affiliates) and that means that we are safe, being at least a quasi ally, given that Obama is more a listener than a fighter for democracy.
  • Not remotely. If the Taliban are giving kudos to the US president, we are in trouble. The Taliban leaders, who have US blood on their hands from 9/11 are saying Obama is "taking steps in the right direction" and that cannot be a good thing for the people of America. Bringing terrorists to the US for trial and potentially freeing them or infecting our prison system with them cannot be good for our security.
  • America was never particularly unsafe. What should change is that Americans will slowly regain their confidence. Bush's administration did more to terrorise Americans than Bin Laden did. They even gave Americans a colour-coded way to be afraid.
  • yes it is safer than a week ago because nobody wants to go there
  • I will say yes, because Obama doesn't pose a threat against anyone. He wants to rehabilitate America, not disturb the peace.
