It would seem so, unfortunately. How else could we explain all the terrorist activities going on? The terrorists aquire the power over people by violent terrorist acts. But this tendency must be checked for the sake of advancement of human civilization. Terror, violence and fear should not be the key to power.

I don't think so. There are many very powerful people who are not violent..and there are many violet people who are not powerful...in fact much violence stems from people feeling impotent. :)

No I do not believe that statement to be true. In some cases power currupts and produces violence but certainly not in all cases.
