It is to your parents, Any driving class you take will lower their insurance rates.

Yes it is. The most important thing you learn is just how little awareness you previously had about your surroundings and other road users.

Dave, did you mean to put this in the scuba diving category and meant "diving" not "driving"?? Or did you mean automobile driving and still missed the right category? One I'll answer, the other I'll leave to someone who's taken an "advanced driving" course.
