  • If it's a new stick, there's your reason right there. If it's an old one, it may have become corrupted. You may be able to back up the sticks contents if it's not corrupted too badly by using your patch cable and connecting it to your PC and transferring your game saves, music and video to your pc for later transferring them back to the card when it's been properly reformatted. You'll also have to install the latest updates again as well. The only other things I can think of is if this is a new card, that it may not actually be PSP apporoved. There are a number of cheap ones out there that won't work in the PSP. The last thing is, did you format that stick on your PC BEFORE you put it in the PSP? That'll cause an error too.
