  • What the educator9445 said is not correct. 1Kb is 1024 bytes 1Mb is 1024 Kbytes. Wikipedia has an article on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilobyte As for you storage device, if you have a regular USB drive then you will have 1024 megabytes on your 1 gigabyte device. If you device is a U3 USB drive, then you will have a little less than 1024 megabytes. "A little" differes from one device to another but is usually less that 50 megabytes. If you use a Window computer, right click on your drive in Windows Explorer and select Properties menu iterm. This will tell you exactly your storage capacity.
