  • Nope, I curse a lot myself (my parter doesn't actually like it). We are all different, there is no real commonality between men verus women.
  • Yes I do - I was told that people swear because they can't thing of a better word to use. I'm battling with my teenage son at the moment who adds swear words to all his sentences - and the words don't add to what he's trying to communication so they are unnecessary.
  • I swear, but people who swear all the time are like water torture. Its just begins to bring you down, as much as being around anyone who is permanently a little sulky or a little aggressive. Its tiring being on full alert to make sure what a person meant by the last profane word they used. Its no more insulting to me than farting, but like someone else having constant wind, constant swearing would begin to make me unable to relax and pretty desperate to get out of that atmosphere.

  • no, but i'd prefer to keep it down to a minimum.
  • I do. Only because my husband has a large vocabulary, and knows how to communicate without being vulgar. Sometimes, his temper gets the better of him though, and the old Marine comes out.
