Argue regarding what? And are you asking Answerbaggers in general, or just Christians? From my point of view, quoting the Bible has become standard for those discussing religious matters since it's considered nothing short of 'tangible proof' for anything related to Christianity. However, However from an atheist's POV, if you're trying to win an argument against a non-believer, it doesn't really help because you're just using a book that we equally don't believe in.

Yes, I can and I have done so in most of my answers. I generally only quote the Bible where I feel it appropriate to do so in answer a question dealing with beliefs of religions that use the Bible.
