I heard the news that a woman died of Water Poisoning to win a Radio Contest in Sacremento. How can someone voluntarily drink so much water that it kills them?

It is called water intoxication. The cells in your body absorb so much water that they explode, if that happens in the brain it is obviously bad. Also it was the hold your wee for a wii contest and i believe the people in charge of the contest were charged with manslaughter.
