it should be ok if theyre just monitoring you. well it should be ok anyway, but you know what i mean. clozapine is a last resort for psychosis isnt it? my friend has just started that, she says it makes her very tired. psychiatric hospitals arent as bad as they make out, i was in a child and adolescent one for nearly two years, and then an adult one for a month or so. on reflection the child on was nicer, but the adult one really wasnt that bad. if you just go along with what they want and dont kick off or anything, it should be ok.hope it goes well :)

It shouldn't be too bad if you're only in there for observation and it's voluntary. If the drug works then they'll hopefully let you out very soon and keep you on the drug and get you to check back with your doctor every now and then. It would be a different story if you were sectioned... It all depends on which psychiatric hospital you go to. All of them are different, and all of them have different kinds of doctors/nurses. So it all depends really. :) x- Keri -x
