Worked in a paper factory. Would wait for paper shreds to come down a chute and then pile them into a compressor. When you got enough shreds you hit a button and they would be compressed into a big square. It took a long time to get enough shreds so I would just listen to the radio, read or sleep.

General Factory. Basically it was, sweep floors, inventory parts received, put parts on shelves, take parts off shelves, move this lever that way, move that lever back, or in general what ever needed to be done. Nain brumbing... :(

worked for a company that made air filters for military vehicles. I worked from 5pm to 5 am running a machine that melted the plastic rim to the filter bag. I was in a room with 2 other people. One handed me a filter and ring, I melted the 2 together, handed it to another who packed it...it was mind-numbingly repetitive and boring! I won't lie though, I worked quite a few different foactory jobs when I was younger and now that I deal with people, deadlines, quotas, etc. on a regular basis in my job, I kind of miss not having to!
