It's not your business to deal that person, unless you're their manager or their boss.

This is not your place to deal with it. Sickness and absence should be monitored by the line manager and/or HR department. Any investigation will be carried out accordingly. If you have a problem with your coworker you should mention it to your coworker in first instance if it is affecting your ability to perform your own work.

Give them work to do, and tell them they cant leave till its done... and if they try the sick card, I'd send them to sick call
