Instead of a left hand drive or a rt, why not a car with driver's seat in the middle?

Engineering. an automobile seat in the middle would not work due to the transmission, gearshift, and other interior objects in the way. i gues this is why automobiles have the drivers seat either on the left or the right side and not in the middle. I cannot imagine attempting to drive an automobile from the center seat. my bearings and timing would be way off.

So whichever side the driver got in, he would have to climb across a seat. Smaller cars are not wide enough for three seats, so you have to be to one side or lose one sear. Tolls and drive-ins wouldn't work. Overtaking is easier if you are at the side of the vehicle - you can see better round the vehicle in front. I think it was tried about 1905, and didn't catch on.

Mate i like your idea. having one babe on your side is just not enough. yeah why dont they make the drivers seat in the center so we can have 2 babes on our sides? great idea! +2 for you
