Yes I do! With the increase of crime in the world people are more scared of crowds and less likely to enjoy the environment of a mall. Thirty years ago it was unheard of for a person to shoot someone for their clothes but now it occurs every week. Malls no longer have the WOW effect that they used to have and are slowly turning to a Wal-Mart type experience. They go there to get something then leave as fast as they can.

I don't. I know tons of people who go there for sales they couldn't get online not to mention that some people just enjoy the atmosphere. I haven't been inside the mall for 6 months now...but I also tend not to like people being that close to be and often find going to the mall draining. I feel like in certain places it's dying off becuase, like BeefStew7 said, the crime rate in malls is pretty ridiculous. A few years ago gang fights in the malls happened every friday and Saturday night, I once passed by a fight were the cop just sat there and watched, and one storeowner we knew persoanlly said that she would have to move her store inorder to get away from the shootings or guys claiming to pullout a gun. The last time I went to the mall I saw young adults and teenagers wearing "gang colors" and starting fights with people wearing different colors than them. I'm not scared to go to the mall, but it seems more like a chore now than a fun exprience.
