  • Many, many people refuse to consider any other possibilities in Jesus' life except what they were taught at church. They consider it blasphemous. Personally, I prefer to look at all possibilities and come to my own conclusions.
  • I was disappointed - their PR machines claimed that it was biblically and historically accurate. It was neither. Special effects were good, although I estimate that they used enough fake blood to fill a small swimming pool. Where quantity of blood is concerned, I think it comes a close second after Kill Bill. Storyline was... inexistent. It was basically a torture sequence extending for the duration of almost the entire film.
  • I dunno, but I liked it... kind of sucked reading every word, but I liked it
  • Sorry to rehash the question, but I was just talking to a friend of mine about this and they said that they didn't like the movie because they actually liked it, but they didn't want to give Mel Gibson any satisfaction. He said he especially liked the part where, when Jesus dies, there's the aerial view that turns into a rain drop which he took to mean that "God" was crying. I never thought about that, but found it very interesting.
