I am interested in learning the origin of the name "Kelton" in Roy Kelton Orbison. Obviously, it was of significant interest to the Orbison family so much that I understand that at least one of Roy's sons also carried on the "Kelton" name in his name.

Roy Kelton Orbison also had a brother named Sammy Kelton Orbison. Roy Kelton Orbison had a son named Wesley Kelton Orbison. Roy Kelton Orbison had a grandson named Roy Kelton Orbison. Pretty far fetched, but the only Kelton I can find is a small town, near the Oklahoma border called Kelton, Tx. The town that Roy Kelton Orbison's father was born in (Alustee Jackson, Oklahoma) isn't on the present-day maps, so I can't tell if it was close to Kelton,Tx. I know it doesn't answer your question, but I hope it helps with a new lead, maybe.:)
