Everyone has a different tolerance. Besides, although I don't know what the "killer" amount is, I imagine unless you drink many many cups in a single hour, pacing yourself throughout the day won't harm you. Well not immediately. It will cause teeth to go yellow after all.

Okay, I'll bite. Why would coffee have nightshade in it? They're not even in the same plant family. Nightshade is of the family Solonaceae. Coffee is from the Rubiaceae family. If worried about nightshade relatives, you'd do better to be concerned with tomatoes, eggplant, most fruiting peppers (bell, cayenne, paprika, etc.), and potatoes, among others.
