  • Start by assigning the tigers a letter, like t. You have 2 times as many camels, so they would be 2t. You left something out in the second line, so I can't set up the whole problem for you (and I shouldn't). If that was supposed to be four more elephants than camels, they would be 2t+4. You know how many elephants there are, because they are the same as lions and you know there are 12 lions. So you have 12 lions and 12 elephants. See if you can figure it out from there.
