i grind my teeth, and i dont believe there is anything for it other than getting a splint (like a mouthguard) to chew on in your sleep

An inexpensive mouthguard can be made from a sports one you can find at Wal-Mart. Get the smaller, clear one - I think it's around 99 cents. Follow the directions to fit it to your teeth. My boyfriend says it's actually more comfortable and works better than the $200 one from the dentist.

Get your dentist to make a mouth guard (brux guard). They work but I hate them.

Try talking to your doctor and see what they recommend. Though, often enough, some products that fix alignment might be all you need.
Take a look at the below site. It has a bunch of reviews that helped me a lot:

sorry i don't know what prevents snoring, but i used to grind and clench my teeth at night till i had a TMJ done. its a test done on your facial nerves by a specialist that is probebly found at or through your dentist. my jaw was out of alignment and would also crack and pop when i chewed something really crunchy or tuff. have your jaw checked out, it could solve it. all that you have to do is were a removeable retainer for a while at night and then your done for the rest of your life. hope this helps.

See your Dentist for the mouth guard the cheap ones really suck.

Talk to your Dr. about snoring they have ways of helping w/ that.

I had to dump a gal who snored - it was simply too much.It can also be a sign of other health problems...
    Good luck!

An occlusal guard (night guard) will protect your teeth from the effects of grinding. Your dentist will be happy to fit you with one for hundreds of dollars, but you can also get cheap over-the-counter ones. You can even use services that will custom fit your mouth guard (you use a kit to make impressions of your teeth and send them in).

A mouth guard may - and I say MAY - help with snoring as well. If your snoring is caused by tissue blocking your throat, a mouth guard might help keep your jaw in a forward position that will prevent this. Otherwise, there are lots of other solutions - sleeping on your side, getting in better shape, etc. You can also get a mouthpiece specifically for snoring.
