I have a RCA TV model P46720LV and it has no sound, I think the mute is on but I'm not sure. How do I get sound out of it.

  I have a RCA XL100 XS Commercial Skip Need to connect TV Ears to help my mother hear (she is hearing impaired). There appears to be to small jacks on the back of the set with small letters I can't read next to each jack. Is this the audio & video outs?

  I have a 32"RCA PIP tv abt 8yrs old.it is connected with a Direct tv box and a vcr/dvd player it has been working. we watched a dvd this am and now that the satellite is on we have no sound. any suggestions? cant afford a new tv.
