  • I believe you can do this anytime you are allowed to run the baseline which would be any time after a made basket by the other team. If a timeout is called after a made foul shot (or basket), you will still be allowed to run the entire baseline when the timeout is over. If you call a timeout because you are unable to get the ball in play after a made basket(calling timout at four seconds and before the ref blows the whistle for five seconds), then you will not be allowed to run the baselline and would have to stay still.
