  • You have already taken a big step by throwing away the magazines. I would also not allow a five year to get anywhere near the Internet. I know you cannot always monitor him; but, try to step up your supervision of him a little bit. Now, why would he be doing this? Children that young do not usually go looking for pornography on their own. Kids his age are too young to think about such things. Someone had to show him what to look for, I am thinking. I would ask him if someone has ever tried to touch him in a bad way. Let him know that he is not in trouble and should tell you everything. Try your best to be understanding and listen. Be sure to tell him that it is not his fault if he was touched. If he has been sexually assaulted, then it would be a good idea to get him some counseling. Also, if he has been wrongly touched, then try to get him to tell you who did it to him. If he does tell you who touched him, then I would contact the police. Good luck!
  • I am guessing that your question is contrived and is not an actual situation. Most 5-year olds would just find the very idea of naked adults icky and uninteresting. And if by some chance it is true, stop leaving your computer on and accessible and set up the password, or are you going to tell us he's also an expert hacker too?
  • He is inquisitive at 5 years old and if it was women's mags or car mags he would have been looking at them and as for porn on you computer, how did he get to those sites? if you have links to them yourselves then that's what has happened, at 5 I don't think he could search for them........simple remedy, password your computer :o)
  • The word *our* pops up twice in your question, your porn, your computer,be responsible keep them somewhere the kids don't have access to!
  • A five year old child should never be in a position to come into contact with pornography. I doubt they would even know what most of the things they saw were. Why are they looking at porn on a computer. The child filter should be on. This must be an incredibly clever child to be able to find porn sites and sit an look at them. If this is true which I find very hard to believe .I am afraid it is your fault NOT the child. If he was my child I would report you for contributing to the abuse of a minor ( in this case a child who knows nothing)
