Rinse with hot water prior to reheating. It is the starch in the pasta that is causing it to stick togather. Mr Bill

This is what I do. After the pasta is cooked (al dente), I drain all the water out and coat the noodles with a mixture of a small amount of oil and butter..usually I've melted the butter with crushed garlic while the noodles were cooking. It you toss them and coat them with the oil/butter/garlic mixture, they will not stick together. Try it and see if it doesn't work better for you! Happy Thursday! :)

Right after it starts boiling add salt. This prevents it from sticking together.

Use more cooking oil or keep refrigerated.

When I cook pasta i first boil it with a little bit of oil. Then i take it out. Drain the water and cook it in a separate pan with at least two table spoons of butter for a few minutes and then serve. I had never gotten this problem. Hope it works for you.

if you add butter then it shouldn't. but if it does take a pan. put just a little bit of water in it then that should unstick it. and make them soft again.

Great suggestions already about adding butter or oil before you refrigerate it. If you have a sauce with it, that would also keep it separated.
