Why does it seem that so many ABers are obsessed with whether or not others believe in God?

I wish I new, Stu. Seems like those that are the most "obsessed" are the ones who seem to like to pass judgment on others about the beliefs...or lack of.

Interesting observation. I've noticed that myself. I suspect they are looking for some kind of validation or justification for their own belief systems.

I don't know, Stu. Good question. Maybe to be generous about it, those who do believe think it makes for a better life and want to communicate that to others. But I really leave that up to others..it is none of my business what faith someone has (or doesn't have) or what political party he/she belongs to. We all do (or should) whatever makes the most sense and avoid things that don't. Seems simple enough to me. Happy Thursday! :)
