"Scientology_net": You are so obviously a lawyer or took your answer from one of the Scientology lawyers. If any of you go to Scientology's main website and watch the videos, they are obviously written by whitty lawyers. So, if you want your child to be sucked into a cult that drains you of all you are worth, have your child trained as an auditor and enjoy having a fully brainwashed child. Scientology is basically this: L. Ron Hubbard stole the wonderfully beautiful tenants of Buddism, but mixed it with horrific psychotherapy (even though they are adamantly against psychiatry) and also mixed it with Science Fiction. Their auditting sessions are no different than a session w/ a psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor...but they try to say that those three types of people are evil and will only harm them more. The only difference is that the psychiatrist is WAY WAY WAY cheaper an hour, and your psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor won't hook you up to a lie detector that they invented on their own. The ideas are great...they are Buddhist ideals. But with Scientology the means does not justify the end. their process of auditting is brainwashing, controlling, and full of greed. They are willing to commit murder if you won't give them all of what they want. Homeland Security is currently debating on adding Scientology to its terrorist watch list. So, I answer your question with another question. You ask: "Of what value would it be to have my child trained as an auditor?" I ask you, "Of what value would it be to have your child trained in an Afghanistanian Al-Qaeda camp?" Or instead of Afghanistanian Al-Qaeda, put the three letters 'KKK'. I know those sound harsh, but our government basically views Scientology as the same as these organizations. Does that answer your question?

You can make money from both your own participation *and* your child's participation in the pyramid scheme. And Scientology benefits from having another brainwashed recruiter.

First of all, it would provide a young person with certainty and knowledge in dealing with every possible type of human problem, be it interpersonal, familial, organizational, ethical, moral, religious or spiritual. Secondly, it would provide a career of fulfillment in aiding people from all walks of life to gain greater awareness and respect for themselves and other spiritual beings.

Auditors are in demand in every Church of Scientology and mission throughout the world. Therefore, any young person would be fulfilling a great demand and contributing greatly to making this world a saner place by becoming trained to minister auditing.
