  • Its part of a tradition that dictates the use of rings to show that someone is engaged or married. Its not a law however, so if you don't have one, thats ok. Although you may want to talk to your significant other about how they feel about the idea of no ring. Its not something you want to just leave out without previous notice :)
  • as a woman, it is definitely nice to have one... rings are like little sacrifices a man makes for a woman, and they are super special and very meaningful reminders. i could see (for financial reasons) waiting until after a wedding for someone to make this sacrifice.
