Good question, not the best, I have seen better... I will go for good. If something is good - its good. If something is better - it depends on what it is being compared to. E.g. To be hung drawn and quartered at 30 is bad To die in ones sleep at 40 is better To live to 100 is good. To live to 100 and be as fit as you were when you were 30 is best. So I would much prefer good to better in this example. A bit extreme but makes the point.... Of course in other examples better is better than good, but if you go for good, you know its not going to be bad either way, but with better - you can never be sure...

I'd probably just get distracted and look at something shiney, because just good or better is not nearly enough to hold my attention

I'd choose good, which is where I'm at right now. If I were any better, people would envy me, and that's not my aim in life. Good is greater than better in my book, so good is best for me. ...Why wasn't "great" an option?

I choose good. I wouldn't want to be better than someone or something else because I would hate knowing that I was. I wouldn't want a comparison.

In your life there is always going to be something that is "the best"... something that you think you want and must have. If the best is unavailable then there are good and better... There is always going to be something "better".. you could have the best but something better might come along and you'll change your mind and want that. Therefor "better" is not that great, and could only be setting you up for dissapointment. Good is good... it is something you can live with, it's may not be "the best" but it is the next best thing... and it is more reliable than "better" therefor i would have to say good... [hope all that made sence... lol] Nikki

Good, because what is better better than. It could b better than lousy or better than death or better than loosing your whole hand... good denotes more hope.

Neither! When it's important enough for me to care seriously, wIll have what i want or i will have NOTHING. there a very few things worth making a stand on, but when i do, i would not want to regret it/ be ashamed of it though i had eternity to learn... infinitely short if you get too close...

Better because it suggests an improvement on the original product or design, while good is just lazy people acepting it and failing to realise they could have so much more.
