well, if we don't keep the stove full the fire goes out and even though we fill woodstove before we go to bed it's usually burned pretty low by morning and then it takes twice as long to heat the house again. so since my husband is the first one out of bed in the morning, he goes out to the woodpile and brings in the mornings wood! it just make sense!

well i dont think people in daycare get morning wood... but if you meant to put it in a different category then i believe the reason is because of the dreams males have when theyre sleeping. -
It isn't really a mystery ... "Morning Wood" is an expression that refers to MANY males .. especially the younger guys ... who wake up with erections . They are especially prevalent in ages 35 - 40 and YOUNGER .

It's a combination of things. One is that testosterone levels are elevated after a restful night's sleep. Another is that he's relaxed...not stressed out. Another is that if his bladder is relatively full, the pressure on the prostate my be a stimulation causing the erection. And finally, he might have had a pretty good dream!
